Wedding Day Timeline
Prep & Details
When I first arrive, I will photograph your details and everyone getting ready. I will work with the bride and bridesmaids and then switch over and photograph the groom and his groomsmen. Make sure to let me know if you have any special gifts or notes that you want photographed too! No detail is to small. I want to make sure I capture everything that makes your day special!! I love to have at least an hour to capture details and the bride getting ready.
First Look
Many brides and grooms are taking a few minutes out of their busy day just for themselves. A first look is perfect for that. Not only do you get to have a quiet moment with each other, this time allows for you to have beautiful images made of the two of you with fresh emotions and excitement for your lives together. Then you can get your portraits of your wedding party completed before the ceremony. First looks usually take about 15 minutes and then you can add some time to do couples portraits and then portraits of the bridal party.
Ceremony
I will capture all the details of the ceremony as well as your guests arriving. Then images of you walking down the aisle and your vows. Once the ceremony is done, all you will have left is a couple family photos before the party can begin! If you feel like you want to go out for a drink in between the ceremony and the cocktail hour of your reception, we are game to tag along and capture those moments!!
Reception
During the Reception I will make sure we cover your grand entrance, all of the toasts to you as a newly married couple and the reception details. I will also cover your first dances and capture candid's of guests and dancing! Your day is going to be so beautiful and all the precious moments we capture will help you remember this special day for years to come!
Final Note
I know I just gave you a lot to think about. I created this guide to help make your wedding day experience be something you’ll look back fondly on for years and years to come. At the end of the day, though, the location you choose and the outfits you select won’t matter nearly as much as the memories you make together. Your future memories are the most important thing to us, and I want your wedding to be a time for you to just be yourselves and enjoy it. Have fun together. Laugh a lot. And I’ll take care of the rest!
